Location: North America (US/Canada)

Type: Full-time W-2 in US, contract-based in Canada

About the role

One of Corny Capital’s portfolio companies is looking for a dynamic, relationship-driven Customer Success Manager to join the team and help clients unlock the full value of their marketing products and services. What you'll work on

  • Lead client onboarding and regular status calls with confidence and clarity
  • Package and present weekly wins and regular analytical reports to demonstrate measurable value and outcomes to clients
  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with clients and act as the liaison between
  • Sales and Delivery teams to ensure seamless handoffs and execution
  • Develop enough subject-matter expertise in Reddit, search, AI/LLM discovery, and emerging digital marketing channels to confidently discuss strategy, results, recommendations, and opportunities with clients
  • Identify upsell opportunities and secure renewals by demonstrating product value
  • Monitor client health and proactively address risks or concerns
  • Communicate updates and insights across departments, managing expectations and messaging
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure client deliverables are met on time and to spec
  • Advocate for client needs internally and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

What we're looking for

  • 3-5+ years of experience in customer success, account management, client services, or a similar client-facing role
  • Fluent in Reddit: you actively use and understand the platform, including subreddit culture, community norms, moderation, karma, posting/commenting behavior, and what makes content feel native vs. promotional
  • Working knowledge of SEO and emerging AI/search concepts such as GEO and AEO: you don’t need to be a technical SEO expert, but you should understand how brands and content get discovered through traditional search engines and AI/LLM-powered experiences
  • Naturally curious and highly self-directed – you independently learn new platforms, tools, technologies, and marketing concepts rather than waiting for formal training or step-by-step instructions
  • Comfortable keeping up with a rapidly changing digital landscape, particularly developments in AI, LLMs, search, social platforms, and digital marketing
  • Able to turn complex or emerging concepts into clear, credible conversations with clients
  • Experience leading client conversations to build strong, trust-based relationships with professionalism and empathy
  • Highly organized self-starter with strong follow-through who can manage multiple clients, priorities, and stakeholders simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the judgment to tailor messaging to different audiences
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity, solving problems independently, and figuring out what you don’t already know
  • Able to act with urgency and sound judgment while balancing client needs with internal team priorities
  • Proactive versus reactive, and looking for opportunities to bring updates, wins, and questions to customers before they ask
  • Experience in an agency, technology company, startup, or other fast-moving environment is a plus
  • Comfortable working with clients across a wide range of industries, including gaming, technology, finance, health/wellness, entertainment, CPG, and adult
  • Schedule flexibility: most of our clients are based in the U.S., but we also work with teams in Europe and Asia. Flexibility to take calls or respond outside of our standard business hours (Eastern Time) is important.
